Discover this family-friendly walk, with views of the Aiguilles d'Arves and the Maurienne valley. Sunny, flat path.
SENTIER DU BUGEON
Departure point : Resort centre, in front of the Tourist Office
On leaving the Tourist Office, go to Place de la Madeleine. Go down the
stairs of the Odalys Bellevue residence, walk along the building on the right, the start
at the back, below the building. Follow the path downhill, then
turn right at the crossroads. Cross a wooden bridge and then the stream. Once you
hamlet of Cochenières, continue to the Montgellafrey road.
Options for the return journey: follow the path in the opposite direction or take the road
the resort on your right (uphill).
Attractions: Family walk.
Length of circuit : Approximately 25 min (one way).
Difficulty: Easy (if there's not too much snow).
Difference in altitude: +20m and -50m
Tips: Bring snowshoes if the snow is fresh. Be careful, the path can be muddy when the snow melts.
If you are not accompanied by a mountain leader, make sure you have the avalanche safety equipment.
